It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a month since Glee was last on our screens. Now that we’ve had the time to say a proper farewell to Cory Monteith and Finn Hudson through “The Quarterback”, we can look forward to some more classic Glee episodes in the run up to Christmas. And it definitely looks like its back with a bang in this Thursday’s episode, “A Katy or a Gaga”.
The members of New Directions tackle their assignment of getting out of their comfort zones and determining whether they’re more like “Katy” (Perry) or (Lady) “Gaga.” Kurt holds auditions for his new band and must decide if he’ll let in the overly bold performer, Starchild (guest star Adam Lambert). Meanwhile, Jake gets closer to Bree (Erinn Westbrook) as he and Marley grow apart.
And it wouldn’t be a new Glee episode without a sneak peek video released days before it airs and Glee didn’t disappoint. In addition to the two “welcome to Glee” videos for new stars Adam Lambert and Demi Lovato, a behind the scenes look at the upcoming episode was also released yesterday (October 4).
We get New York. We get McKinley. We get Katy Perry. We get Lady Gaga. We get Adam Lambert. What more could you possibly want in this all-new episode.
