Katy Perry Bashes Annoying Australian Photographers

Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour brought her to Sydney, Australia, and since the songstress was heavily annoyed by the paparazzi, she shared a statement.

Katy Perry is currently in the middle of the promotional campaign for her latest studio album, Prism. While her Prismatic World Tour still goes on strong, the latest stop found the songstress in Sydney, Australia. As it seems, she wasn’t really happy with the paparazzi in the area.

The “Roar” star was heavily irritated by the photographers of the Australian press and did not hesitate to show her frustration. In an attempt to be vocal about the incident, she made public an official statement regarding the way she was treated on her Twitter profile. According to Katy Perry, they not only stalked her throughout her visit, but they also had the nerve to joke about her privacy and go as far as to make offers, so that they would leave her alone. In her own words:

The drama doesn’t end there. Apart from stating her own point of view on the events, Katy Perry shared photos of three paparazzi photographers that did not leave her side during her visit in Australia. In addition to that, she warned the press that publishing photos taken by these “disgusting” and “perverted” men would be “unauthorized” and “against her will”.

Do you think Katy Perry is doing the right thing by calling out the paps, instead of simply ignoring them? If anything, it’s true that the situation with them has been getting more and more unbearable for celebrities.
