The 29-year-old singer, who celebrated her birthday on Friday, took to the stage singing her number 1 hit, “Roar” in front of the rapturous audience. Following the performance, host Luke Jacobz asked if she had any advice for the top three, Dami Im, Jai Waetford and Taylor Henderson. After going through the cities she’d visited in the past week, she jokingly replied that they need to get used to flying. She also recommended that if they didn’t already play, for them to “pick up an instrument”.

Later in the evening, Perry treated the audience to the second single from Prism, “Unconditionally”. While she debuted the single at the Prism album launch at the iHeart Radio Theater last week, this was the first public performance of the single.

In the end, the favourite Korean-born Dami was crowned the winner. Week after week she was consistent with her amazing performances earning the respect not only from her mentor, Dannii Minogue, but from the other three mentors as well, Ronan Keating, RedFoo and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
