With her hit single “Roar” still in the #2 spot after 9 weeks, and “Walking On Air” and “Dark Horse” faring well in the their own right, Katy Perry is poised for huge debut of her new album, Prism.
With the album set for release on October 21 in the UK and a day later here in the States, Miss Katy has a released a slew of 30 second snippets in a Prism preview.
Fans are treated to previews of “Unconditional,” “Birthday,” “Ghost,” and “By The Grace of God.”
Katy recently told Billboard that she had Prism was originally set to release February 2014, but she felt she had enough material to up the release date.
“In May I sat down with my managers and said, ‘Guys, I think I’m going to have everything ready enough to come out this fourth quarter,’” Perry said. “We weren’t really thinking we’d be able to put anything out until February [2014], but you don’t want to sit on something that’s about to burst.”
I’m certainly glad we get Prism next week, rather than waiting any longer!
