During an interview with MTV News, Daniel Radcliffe admitted that he has a celebrity crush on “Roar” singer, Katy Perry.
“Mentally I am very close to Katy Perry a lot,” Radcliffe joked. “I’ve been in a room with her since and I couldn’t say [anything]. I was like across a room from her and I was like, ‘I can’t. I just can’t even say anything. You’ve probably seen an interview with me. You know these thoughts are in my head. I can’t even look at you.’”
While, Perry isn’t single and is dating John Mayer, she doesn’t see a problem with hanging out with the Kill Your Darlings star. “Oh please, this isn’t the third grade. Just ring me, Daniel. Don’t be shy, or get your people to call mine if you like,” she said to The Sun. “I am totally taken so it’s not about that. I think he’s cool and I’d really like to get to know him. We’ll all go out and party.”
Not that this is an issue for Radcliffe anyway, he recently told Parade Magazine he doesn’t like dating. “I hated dating because I’m crap at it.”
