Somehow, some way, Kesha and Pitbull have managed to come together and for a collaboration. Both the rapper and pop artist are both on RCA Records, and they have released the track entitled “Timber”, which they recorded together last month. It is now available for download here the in the U.S, but there is no date set for when it will hit in the U.K.

Pitbull says this in the new track: “I have em’ like Miley Cyrus , clothes off/ Twerkin’ in their bra’s and thongs.” Kesha and Pitbull are on the road touring together as we speak. They have worked together before on the 2009 hit ‘Girls’ as well as a remix of ‘Crazy Kids’.

Pitbull recently chatted things up with Ryan Seacrest that the use of the harmonica in the song was in fact inspired by Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up’. Pitbull explained: “I’ve been all around the world touring and it was a record from Avicii that was so big and had this country feel to it. This record came down produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, and Sermstyle, and I said ‘Man I need to get my hands on that’ and being on tour with Kesha, we hit it off, and what better than to have a crazy, sexy, cool, beautiful woman on it with me?”

Kesha fans recently started an online petition in order to get the singer out from under Dr. Luke’s record label.
