Pebe Sebert, mother of popular singer Ke$ha, has denied recent claims that her daughter had checked into a rehabilitation center on January 3rd to battle alcoholism.

Sebert responded to fans on Twitter saying the 26-year-old ”Tik Tok” singer had sought treatment to only get help for her eating disorder:

She also appears to be suggesting it was Ke$ha’s producer, Lukasz Sebastian “Dr. Luke” Gottwald who started the alcoholism rumors, retweeting several comments from fans such as the one below:

Along with those tweets, Sebert also spoke to Celebuzz about the rumors. “That’s a total lie. The place she’s at is an eating disorder center. When they say ‘people close to her’ I will tell you I travel with her everywhere, her little brother, her assistant, makeup artist, talk to anyone.”

In regard to her daughter’s drinking habits, she replied: “She might be crazy and she might get sh*t-faced drunk but, but everyone does. She doesn’t have a drinking problem.”

When word first broke of her entering rehab, Ke$ha said she would be in treatment for 30 days. However, Sebert added that she thinks her daughter could possibly extend her stay in rehab. ”She may not get out that soon,” said Sebert. ” That could just be a starting point.”
