The cast of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland just got larger, as it was revealed that Keith David is taking on the role of the infamous Cheshire cat.
TVLine reports that the Cheshire cat will appear in the first episode of the brand new series, which is the spin-off to the highly successful series Once Upon a Time. Other actors announced to voice roles in the series are John Lithgow and The Who’s Roger Daltrey who will voice the White Rabbit and the hookah-smoking Caterpillar, respectively.
David is best known for his roles in Cloud Atlas, Death at a Funeral and Coraline. He is a two-time Emmy winner who also has narrated The Bible, the “Pillows and Blankets” episode of Community, as well as roles in Gargoyles and Spawn.
The show also stars Sophia Lowe, who will play Alice; Michael Socha (Being Human) will star as the Knave of Hearts, Peter Gadiot as Cyrus and Emma Rigby who will play The Red Queen.
