“Who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Kelly Osbourne apologizes for her comments on Latinos, made yesterday during The View.

During yesterday’s episode of The View, the panel brought up Donald Trump, specifically his infamous comments regarding the Mexican population in the United States.

Guest host Kelly Osbourne joined the conversation by saying, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Right after making that comment, fellow host Rosie Perez, who is of Puerto Rican descent, responded by saying, “Latinos are not only…” Perez did not finish her statement as the other panelists began firing back as well.

To no success, Osbourne tried to retract her comments almost immediately during the show. She took to Facebook yesterday in order to share her side:

“In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT,” writes Osbourne. “I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole.”

Rosie Perez herself commented on the situation on Twitter, apologizing to her co-host:

Unlike Perez, the rest of the internet was much less forgiving towards Kelly Osbourne, making her a worldwide trending topic shortly after the broadcast. NBC News highlighted some of the tweets, only a few of many.
