Kesha is back and looking better than ever.
The 27-year-old songwriter is back after spending some time in treatment for anorexia and bulimia. She checked into a centre outside Chicago on January 3rd. Her mother revealed that she was being treated for eating disorders.
“[The doctors] told me her blood pressure and sodium were so low they’d never seen that, except with someone who’d had a heart attack or stroke” she told People.
She also said Kesha’s problems were triggered by bullying from her management team.
Now Kesha is back. She was spotted arriving at LAX on Thursday, wearing a top with the “I’m A Survivor” slogan, looking healthy and smiling. She also took to her twitter and Facebook to share the happy news:
“Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music, I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me,” she wrote.
Kesha also changed her twitter name from “Keshasuxx” to “KeshaRose.” She added, “life is beautiful. I’m so blessed to have u all.”
No word yet on when she will be back on the road, but we are happy to see she’s doing well!
