As if Jane (not so much a virgin anymore) hadn’t gone through enough drama in the first season of the hit show, it’s looking like she’s yet to run into more with the news that ‘little miss attitude’ pop-star Kesha is set to star in an upcoming episode of the CW show.
She’ll play Annabelle, “a colourful musician” (wow, that’s a stretch!) who “becomes Jane’s new neighbor.”
The singer, who burst onto the music scene with the smash hit “Tik Tok” tweeted early this morning:

Kesha is not the first pop star set to star in the show as mom-of-two Britney Spears is also going to make an appearance, playing a nemesis of Jane’s father Rogelio.
Show-runner Jennie Snyder Urman said of Spears’ addition to the new season:
We’re really excited.
