Kid Rock has revealed that he believes the price of entertainment has “gotten out of hand”. On the Piers Morgan show Rock exclaimed that the price of concert tickets, especially for Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s highly anticipated Legends of Summer Tour, is simply ridiculous.
Tickets for Jay Z and JT are running upwards of $200 whereas Kid Rock has just released yet another $20 show. Rock explained that he does not want to be taking advantage of “a working man” and therefore has worked closely with promoters to keep the cost down. Rock’s shows also feature $20 shirts, $4 beer, and free coffee and Jimmy John’s at select shows.
Are concerts worth the oftentimes hefty fee, or should more artists follow in Kid Rock’s footsteps?
