Looking for the perfect movie that is for nerds, by nerds? Well, look no further, my friends. Pull up a chair and allow me to introduce you to Knights of Badassdom. If the title alone isn’t enough to make you want to watch it, then allow me to introduce you to the cast.
The cast reads like a veritable who’s who of stars from every show that any nerd has ever loved. Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Summer Glau (Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Steve Zahn (Treme), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood), Jimmi Simpson (Breakout Kings, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Danny Pudi (Community), Joshua Malina (Scandal, The Big Bang Theory, West Wing), W. Earl Brown (Deadwood), Tom Hopper (Merlin), and Michael Gladis (Mad Men). Is your head spinning yet? It’s like a line-up for one of those movies like Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve with everyone who’s anyone in Hollywood except for the lineup is a nerd nirvana, if you will.
The movie is about a group of LARPers (live action role players) who accidentally summon a demon from hell and now have to figure out how to deal with what they’ve unleashed.
IMDB states it is coming out in 2013, so watch the trailer, and get ready to laugh! HUZZAH!
