KOPPS New EP, KOPYRIGHT Is Our New Obsession

That’s correct, you heard us right. KOPPS just dropped an awesome new ep, KOPYRIGHT and if you haven’t heard it yet, prepare to dance. That’s all I’ve got to say.

KOPYRIGHT features two new songs titled “VIP” and “Horses” (feat. Big Arby) as well as previous releases “U.G.L.Y.,” “Virtual Reality,” “Oh Dang Dang,” and “Get Juicy.” While dance parties are a thing of the past (and far future) for now, this energetic, addictive EP will definitely get you in that funky dance mood right at home. We are honestly obsessed and can’t wait to see what comes next as a follow up. Let’s dive right in.

VIP: VIP starts off strong. With insane production, and a voice shouting VIP over and over. As the track continues, new sounds are introduced, giving us a fresh, funky, vibe to enjoy. VIP is one of those tracks that no doubt, you could potentially hear in your sleep. A twerk anthem for sure.

Virtual Reality: Is a little less funky. VR is a more toned down, pop, dance sound. It gives you enough funk to get up and dance around your living room when you know you’re that B!tch. Virtual Reality is a fun track, similar to what you’d hear in the clubs or playing in between sets at your favorite artists concerts. Virtual Reality is one of those songs DJ’s would turn on to keep the energy going before a guest appearance, or like I said, set change at a concert. Epic track.

Oh Dang Dang: This track will honestly have to grow on me. However, this is a sexy, sultry, funky track that you would play in the car with your girls before you hit the clubs. The EDM vibe of this track, the production, and the minimalism as far as lyrics, singing, etc, is honestly addicting. This track gives you everything you need to feel like a boss.

Horses: This track reminds me a lot of growing up in a small town. The start of this track is totally unexpected. However, it stays true to that sexy vibe that KOPPS is known for thus far in this EP. However, when the song continued and they start talking about tumble weed, a can of beans, etc.. I kind of got lost. This track is not bad at all, but not ideally one I would go back and play again.

UGLY: A whole ass bop. This track is definitely my favorite on this EP and I’ll definitely be keeping this one on my playlist for when I just need energetic, upbeat, funky vibes to listen to.

KOPPS new EP, KOPYRIGHT is out now on all major streaming platforms.
