Okay, so maybe I’m just out of the loop, but I did not know Kristen Bell was a mom! Not only a mom, but a mom of soon to be two kids!
If you don’t believe me, believe Bell and her husband’s (Dax Shepard) rep:
“I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln,” their rep reported in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “The whole family is beyond excited.”
Despite the work and energy needed to raise a young child, Bell and her hubby feel they are more than ready to expand their family beyond the two of them and their 15-month-old daughter.
“She’s delicious. It’s such a fun age,” Bell gushed. “I feel like having a toddler is exhausting and extremely rewarding — and far more rewarding than exhausting.”
Bell and Shepard shared a beautiful wedding ceremony after their three-year engagement ended last October.
While they will be more than happy to discuss their children’s milestones and accomplishments, they have agreed to keep any photos of the two siblings together away from the public eye.
“Our daughter is not a public figure. We chose to be, we volunteered to be in this business and she did not. I feel it’s very important and my number one job as a mother to protect what her interests might be,” Bell confessed. “She might grow up to be very shy and she might not want her picture anywhere. This lifestyle might make her very uncomfortable and I think it’s my duty to protect that.”
