Let the good vibes keep on coming!
Our favorite Good Witch, Kristin Chenoweth, recently recorded a video for HRC’s Americans For Marriage. Chenoweth has spoken our on behalf of the LGB T community and marriage equality on several past occasions.
One interview from September 2011 found her on the Joy Behar Show, where she sat down the the show host to discuss how, yes, she can be Christian and pro-gay.
“Even as a young child I thought, ‘Why is being gay bad?,’” she said. “I didn’t understand it. So I asked my grandma, who is the best Christian I ever knew. I’d say, ‘What about my friend Denny, he’s gay, is he going to hell?’ She told me, ‘I read the Bible like I eat fish. I take the meat that serves me well but I don’t choke on the bone.’”
