Uh oh. It looks like it’s now Lady Gaga: 0, music leakers: 2. Yesterday she tried to head off the leak of her new single “Applause” by releasing it early. Today a buried duet between Mother Monster and Cher hit the web. Gaga hasn’t said anything yet.
Cher, however, is livid on her behalf.
The song, called “The Greatest Thing,” was initially meant to be on Cher’s next album. Lady Gaga is writing on said album, which is being produced by Red One. She decided to scrap the track because she didn’t like it.
Cher took to Twitter once again in defense of Gaga’s decision, saying, “Shes an ARTIST… Its Her Song, Her Voice, Her Choice.”
