The first ever YouTube Music Awards stormed New York last night (November 3) and it was an emotional rollercoaster for one lady in particular.

Lady Gaga arrived to the award show to promote the final song she will be releasing before the release of her brand new album, ARTPOP.

Gaga stepped out onto to red carpet in an all-black mix of extra-large heels, a baggy shirt, a bowler hat, round sunglasses and some grotesque (yet fabulous) set of false teeth which stretched her mouth into a smile.

The Born This Way superstar appeared to be recreating the single cover for the new track, titled “Dope.”

Gaga hit the stage to perform the ballad and delivered arguably one of the most emotional performances she has ever done. The crowd watched on as Gaga sat under dim light at her piano and sobbed through the new track with a very powerful vocal performance.

The song, which is now available on iTunes to purchase, features very heavy, vulnerable and sombre vocals from the queen of pop.

MTV News recently reported that Gaga has just split from her boyfriend Taylor Kinney, however they were photographed snuggling up and kissing during the award show.

You can listen to the new track below which is accompanied by the interesting cover art.
