The rumors are true, Little Monsters, Lady Gaga is set to take the biggest stage ever. Gaga will headline the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show.

The rumors are true, Little Monsters! Lady Gaga is set to take the biggest stage ever.

Lady Gaga posted on her social media accounts to announce that the speculation of her headlining the Super Bowl halftime show were true. Gaga was the most-rumored artist to be headlining and will be following in the footsteps of last year’s headliners, Coldplay.

This will not be the first time that Lady Gaga has taken the Super Bowl stage. Just last year, she was chosen to sing the national anthem, which gained her a lot of positive reaction regarding her vocal ability.

Gaga is currently dominating the charts thanks to her new hit single, “Perfect Illusion”, which debuted number 15 on the Billboard Top 100; it’s the first single off her newly announced album Joanne which is set to be released on October 21st.

Joanne will be Lady Gaga’s fifth album overall and her first solo album since the release of Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett.

Gaga has also been working on American Horror Story, she starred as The Countess in last season’s AHS: Hotel and was in the most recent episode of AHS: Roanoke.

It still hasn’t been confirmed who will be going Gaga with her on the world’s most-watched stage, but it is expected that she will bring special guests as the past couple of artists who have headlined have done. Lady Gaga previously announced, however, that she is working with Florence Welch and Beck on her new album, so they might be possible collaborators for her Super Bowl performance.

Lady Gaga will be on FOX NFL Sunday Pregame Show on October 2nd to talk about her upcoming Super Bowl performance. She will also be working alongside Super Bowl Half Time Show sponsor, Pepsi, to offer fans a glimpse into what she will be working on leading up to the show.

Super Bowl LI will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX on Sunday, February 5th, 2017 on FOX.
