Lana Del Rey Goes Gangsta In High By The Beach Video

For a while now, Lana Del Rey has been teasing her fans for the music video of her brand-new single, “High By The Beach”. After releasing the track itself a couple of days ago, the songstress has now moved on to the premiere of the accompanying video.

The instagram-filtered visuals for the synth-heavy, vintage electro-urban tune find Lana Del Rey living that life while looking totally beautiful and cool for the summer at some seaside resort. As her day goes by, a photographer approaches in a helicopter to take a picture, and it’s then that we see the songstress walking to the beach and taking her guitar case. Over at her balcony, she opens it up and gets her big gun from the inside and shoots the paparazzi, blowing the helicopter in the air. Well, now she’s free to go back inside and enjoy the rest of her day getting high by the beach.

“High By The Beach” is the lead single of the songstress’ upcoming, third studio album, Honeymoon. Even though it’s a follow-up to the title track, that one was more of a promotional single. The record is expected to arrive in stores sometime in September, even though no official release date has been announced.
