First a rough cut of Lana Del Ray’s latest music video went to Youtube, then a day latter the real one arrived. The first single from Ultraviolence is “West Coast”, and the accompanying music video is everything you expect from the young artist.
The moody, black and white promo featuring shots of California, was directed by Chris Sweeney and Sophie Muller.
Del Ray who debuted “West Coast” at Coachella, will continue to promote her upcoming sophomore album when she performs at Glastonbury, where her Ultraviolence producer Dan Auerbach (member of The Black Keys) will also be performing.
Ultraviolence is set to be released latter this year.
