He became one of the richest men in television for creating the greatest show of all time, Seinfeld. He created and stars in one of the funniest shows in history, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
But that isn’t enough for Larry David, as he is set to make his Broadway debut in Fish In the Dark, a comedy he wrote himself.
David mentioned about his stage acting career: “I haven’t been in a play since the eighth grade, when I did Charley’s Aunt. I seem to remember wearing a dress. That’s it. And I’m not even really an actor. But I’m still sleeping at night, and I hope that continues.”
It was rumored earlier this year that David was working on a mystery project, with rumors going around that it was a play set for Broadway. David only intended on writing the play, but producer Scott Rudin convinced him to star in it as well.
There is no opening release date for the play yet, but it is sure to be something very special and incredibly entertaining if Larry David is behind it.
