Comedian and actress, Lea DeLaria, who plays Big Boo on Netflix-original series Orange Is the New Black, began attacking a minister who actively preaches hate-speeches on the M train in New York City.
Sporting a “Bad Jew” shirt & a bag reading “God Hates Bags,” the openly gay comic shouts that riders shouldn’t be forced to listen to the man’s Bible teachings on a public train.
“Other people believe other things and have every right to believe other things on this planet and in this world,” DeLaria says. “We do not have to be force fed this man’s religious beliefs. Jesus never said for you to do this, ever — not anywhere in the Bible.”
DeLaria continues by eventually singing “99 Bottles of Beer” over his sermon followed by a speech about why religious fanatics like him, conservatives, and the Tea Party are the reason why America is in trouble.
