The song we have all been waiting for is finally out! Lea Michele released another song from her debut album Louder, this time it’s for her Glee co-star and boyfriend, the late Cory Monteith.
Michele co-wrote the song describing what she has been through after the sudden tragic death of Monteith, in which she calls him “the fallen hero.”
The title of the song “If You Say So,” is the last words Cory said to her.
“Was just a week ago, you said I love you girl. I said I love you more. And a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so.”
The final verse is the one that really makes our hearts ache.
“I can’t believe it’s true. I keep looking for you. I check my phone and wait to hear from you in a crowded room.”
“I thought we would grow old. Mirrors in the smoke. Left me here to choke.”
Lea dedicated Louder to Cory, and it is now available on iTunes.
