A clip from an unreleased video, featuring shock rocker Marilyn Manson and songstress Lana Del Rey, is making its way across the Internet. Directed by Hostel’s Eli Roth, the film project had been indefinitely shelved after Roth decided that it was too dark. In an interview with Larry King last year, Roth said, “The footage is so sick, it’s been locked in a vault for over a year.”
The video features several scenes including one in which Lana Del Rey, wearing only a Texas Chainsaw Massacre t-shirt and underwear, is forced face-down onto a bed and sexually assaulted. Another scene, involving a macabre dinner party, is intermingled with clips from Marilyn Manson music videos such as “Slo-Mo-Tion” and “On Reflection.” Manson is also shown as a guest at the dinner party, along with a woman carrying balloons with the word “RAPE” scrawled across them. Dispersed throughout the video are images of a woman’s bloody face being shoved underwater.
The video was posted on YouTube with the title “Sturmgruppe 2013 Reel.” According to the Sturmgruppe website, it is a ”visual/technical creative media collective based in Los Angeles.”
