New Legends Of Tomorrow Trailer Features Time-Travel!

The new action-packed trailer for The CW’s upcoming Legends of Tomorrow has been released, and it is heavy on adventure, wit, and time-travel.

Legends of Tomorrow is the new CW superhero series set in the same universe as Arrow and The Flash. The hotly anticipated show released another new trailer this week; one that seems to put a special focus on Rip Hunter (played by Arthur Darvill) and time-travel.

The show’s official synopsis also puts emphasis on the role time-travel will play in the limited series.

When heroes alone are not enough…the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to avoid from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think – can this “ragtag team” save “all of time itself”? Anyone else particularly enjoy the Star Wars reference?

The trailer gives viewers a slightly better understanding of the threat the team has been assembled to fight, and hints at the overall dynamic of the team. There are also some hints that White Canary, played by Caity Lotz, may not be as in control of herself as previously thought.

The series stars Victor Garber (half of Firestorm), Brandon Routh (the Atom), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Caity Lotz (White Canary), Ciarra Rennee (Hawkgirl), Franz Drameh (the other half of Firestorm), Falk Hentschel (Hawkman), Dominic Purcell (Heat Wave), and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), and will debut on The CW on January 21.
