Former Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester is set to make her Broadway debut next year!
She will star as a beautiful temptress in a revival of Of Mice and Men, which hasn’t been performed on Broadway for 40 years. Joining Meester in the line-up are the likes of James Franco and Chris O’Dowd.
The story is said to be about an unlikely friendship between a pair of migrant field workers set in California during the Great Depression.
The play will start in March 2014 at the Longacre Theatre in Manhattan, New York, and will be directed by Anna D. Shapiro.
