As Gotham prepares to return to television, it looks as if a new villain has been cast in a recurring role.
Leo Fitzpatrick, perhaps best known for his role in The Wire, has, according to Deadline, joined the show as Joe Pike, the leader of a riotous, notorious gang of arsonists:
“Season 2 will focus on “The Rise of the Villains” and Fitzpatrick’s character will certainly fall under that category.”
The new season of Gotham will see the stakes raised as the show delves into the origin stories of villains including The Riddler, The Joker, and Mr. Freeze. Bruce Wayne will also uncover more family secrets.
Season 2 premieres Monday,
September 21 on Fox.
