You might not believe that you need to hear the “Let It Go” song one more time. You also might think that there couldn’t possibly be another parody of this mega-successful Disney song. You’re probably tired of it (even Frozen‘s director apologized for this recognizable piece).
However, the world does indeed have another “Let It Go” parody. Dare I say it needed this one? The Hillywood Show, with executive producer Nerdist, has taken this musical, rewritten the lyrics, and recreated the infamous Lord of the Rings scene with Frodo throwing the One Ring into the fiery depths of Mt. Doom.
Through Samwise Gamgee, viewers experience first-hand the fight with Shelob the spider; his worries for Frodo; and battling the other villains of Middle-earth, while Hannah Hindi’s Frodo did a wonderful job capturing Mr. Baggin’s strife.
All in all, I give this video a solid 9 out of 10. Most of the sets were brilliant, and the personifications of these iconic roles were orchestrated fabulously. Hillywood’s choice for Gollum was absolutely spot-on as were the credits.
This video has been seen and shared by several members of the Lord of the Rings cast.
Sean Astin (Samwise himself) took note:
.@hillyhindi your talent and creativity know no bounds. I expect greatness from you in the years to come!!!!

As did Billy Boyd (Peregrin Took):
@HillywoodShow that’s incredible! Well done, really amazing! Well done x

Even Adam Brown of The Hobbit saw and shared this parody:
“@HillywoodShow: @BrownAds We’d love to know your thoughts on our#LOTRParody! http://t.co/PorqhMb8k6 Enjoy! x” Epic!
