While we’re only half way through 2013, there’s so much to look forward to in 2014 that we’re almost wishing the rest of the year would fly by. Included in that is the debut of a new ride in New Fantasyland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park: the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
This is THE ride for all you fans of the adorable Dwarfs from Snow White. Considering we didn’t get much more than a glimpse at what they do at work all day in the Disney classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this new family coaster will provide us with that opportunity. The ride is described as “taking guests on a musical journey through the mine ‘where a million diamonds shine.’”
Disney Parks Blog has reported that the ride is “innovative” and that the coaster cars “respond to every twist and turn”. The ride will contain music from the hit film as well as special guest appearances by animated figures from the movie.
While the ride is set to open in 2014, Walt Disney Imagineering is celebrating as they recently laid down one of the final pieces of track for the ride. You can see a picture from the momentous occasion below:
