LeyeT returns with “more thoughts” EP

Combining vivid lyricism with pop sensibilities, the 6-song EP explores a variety of themes and soundscapes, from acoustic confessionals to surging synth gems. Diving into personal topics like the negative affects of social media, self-reflection, and friendships, this EP has a little something to offer for everyone.

“more thoughts” follows the release of “thoughts”, which housed buzzy singles such as “Most Peoplewhich premiered via Billboard and “Let Me Knowthat landed in Spotify’s New Music Friday.

“This EP is a snapshot into my mind and life – a continuation of my thoughts which are always running,” LeyeT explains. “I’ve been in a season of growth and independence which led me to explore themes outside of love and heartbreak, topics that were prevalent in my first EP. I’ve learned more about myself in the process and feel even more confident in who that is – a rather relentless, driven, free spirit.”

Additionally, LeyeT has helped to cultivate and grow a community of songwriters called Los Angeles Songwriters Collective (LASC). LASC’s purpose is to be a healthy resource and thriving community for songwriters to connect, grow and create together via workshops, events and showcases. Within this community, LeyeT has taken it a step further to develop a new chapter for women called LAS (she), a place for female creatives to empower each other and inspire diversity in the world of songwriting.

LeyeT’s new EP, “more thoughts” is available everywhere now.
