There was a mini Roseanne reunion on Friday (Feb.7), as John Goodman, 61, paid a visit to The Talk, where former TV daughter Sarah Gilbert is a host. Goodman was there to promote his new film, The Monuments Men, but they also took a walk down memory lane, talking about their days together on Roseanne.
The last time the two saw each other, Gilbert had stopped by to say hello as Roseanne Barr and Goodman were working on a TV pilot together.
Goodman gushed,”I was so proud of you,” then added,”I’m still so proud of you.” Gilbert returned the favor of praise for co-star.
She said,”You were so fun to work with all week and such a great guy to work with, but when it came the day to tape, no one was more of a perfectionist or more focused. You really taught me how important it is to care about your art.”
How sweet is that? Goodman also said his relationship with Gilbert was “…great basic training for raising my own daughter.”
With this blast from the past, we vote for a full-on Roseanne reunion!
