Chatting to Seventeen Magazine recently, Lily Collins described her admiration for fellow stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart.
In particular, she feels they have coped extremely well with the superstardom they’ve both attained.
“I admire how they’ve both handled the fame that came with those roles and their ability to step outside those roles and do other projects,” Lily claimed.
“That’s what I want to do – balance fun big movies with gritty passion projects I love.”
Jennifer Lawrence is the universally adored headliner of The Hunger Games franchise, while Kristen Stewart made a controversial name for herself in The Twilight Saga.
Lily Collins now features as a leading lady in new franchise, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and makes it clear that she takes her new role very seriously.
“I didn’t feel the pleasure in drinking or doing drugs,” she said. “I wanted to remember the fun moments that I had with my friends and not wake up and go, ‘Um, I think I had fun?’”
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is in both US and UK cinemas now.
