American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen is releasing his fourth studio album, Horizons, tomorrow (August 12). Fans of the singer-songwriter know that this project has been a long time coming, and with acclaimed Civil Wars producer Charlie Peacock on his side, they have reason to fall into the hype zone.
Thankfully, a few days before the album’s release, Kris had decidedly uploaded a stream of the songs on YouTube that you can now listen to below! It’s the most organic album released by Allen yet, and I don’t just mean due to its gentle, introspective sonic leanings. It is quite literally the most Kris Allen-y a Kris Allen album has felt so far, and it’s reflected in each and every one of the songs in how he delivers them with eloquence and ease.
