When Syfy first debuted Sharknado earlier this year, I don’t think anyone actually thought it would amount to anything more than really bad TV movie.
Basically that’s still accurate although it got a lot of buzz thanks to trends on Twitter and celebrity chatter. It did well enough to earn itself a sequel, but even better than that is the new spoof trailer.
Live With Kelly And Michael paid tribute to the Syfy flick on Halloween with the help of some of their A-list pals: Robin Williams, Cher, Julianne Hough (minus offensive makeup) to name a few.
Host Kelly Ripa had some Oscar worthy lines such as: “So I looked up sharks on the internet and I see whale sharks and I think, ‘wait… that must mean a whale and a shark had sex?’”
