DC Comics recently redesigned the costume for Lobo and debuted the new look. Kenneth Rocafort was the creator of the costume which has a lanky appearance for the New 52‘s “authentic Lobo.”
Bob Harras wrote on the official DC blog that “the Lobo you assume you perceive does not stand.” He went on to explain that they work to keep everything appealing, diverse and shocking. The reason why Justice League #23.2: Lobo is redesigned is because of everything mentioned earlier.
It also consists of a huge surprise which is something DC Comics that have been devising for a long time. Harras revealed that “the Lobo everyone has seen in the New 52 is not who we assume it is. In this single opportunity, everyone will be acquainted with the actual Lobo. He is a cold-blooded slayer, Lobo is on an expedition to exterminate the guy who took his name.” The phony Lobo appeared in the no defunct Deathstroke series. The new comic Justice League #23.2 will be released to purchase on September 11th.
