Gerard Butler is set to return for forthcoming ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ sequel, called ‘London Has Fallen’, which now finally has a release date!

Does everyone remember the fantastic film Olympus Has Fallen, which was released along with Channing Tatum’s White House Down? They both did well despite the similar content but Olympus now has a sequel. The film is called London Has Fallen and it continues the tale of Gerard Butler’s character, Mike Banning. Banning is a former Presidential Guard who became stuck in the White House during an attack and saved the day.

He’ll be back to save London on March 4th of 2016! Guess what I’ll be seeing for my birthday this year! The release date was originally set for January, but Focus Feature’s President Jim Orr thinks March offers a better chance at big success. The first film was a surprise hit and came out in March as well.
