Lorde has released a preview of her song for the Catching Fire soundtrack. The track is a haunting cover of Tears For Fears’ 1985 single “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.” I can’t wait to hear the full song!
Lorde joins many star musicians for the soundtrack. The much-hyped album includes Coldplay, Christina Aguilera, Sia, Ellie Goulding, The Lumineers, Of Monsters And Men, Patti Smith, Santigold, The Weeknd, and Imagine Dragons. Coldplay, Sia, and Aguilera have already released their tracks from the album.
The only thing better than Catching Fire looking like it’s going to be fantastic is the soundtrack being just as stunning. The movie comes out on November 21st. The soundtrack comes out a few days before, on November 19th. We sure have a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks!
