Sonya Walger, who played Penny on Lost, will be joining the cast of Scandal, as first reported by TvLine.
In true Shonda Rhimes fashion, details about Walger’s character have yet to be revealed, but she is expected to be connected to one of the series regulars. Walger joins Scandal two years after fellow Lost alum, Henry Ian Cusick, left as Stephen Finch.
Walger, who will also return to NBC’s Parenthood, will be joining Portia De Rossi, Mary McCormick, and Josh Randall in the ABC show’s fourth season.
Scandal returns to ABC for its fourth season on Thursday, September 25th at its new 9 pm time slot.
