Emerging artist and teen heartthrob, Louis Knight just release his unplugged video for his original composition, “Maybe That” and received critical praise.

However, Knight is headed full force into the music industry after completing a run on ABC’s “American Idol”.

After winning our hearts over on American Idol, and receiving a lot of great feedback from judges Katy Perry, Lionel Ritchie, and Luke Bryan, Louis is ready to make a name for himself and show his new fans (and people who may not know of him yet) that he is more than a TV show and ready to take on the music industry and achieve his own success.

 “you might be the biggest star we’ve had on American Idol” following the performance of his original composition, “Change.” Luke Bryan ex claimed. Change, a personal story about a friend who had taken his life has amassed almost 500,000 streams on Spotify.

Though we are still very touched, moved, and obsessed with “Change”, it’s time to slowly transition over to his most recent track, “Twisted Conversations” another stunning, yet powerful, new track.

Knight is working to carry the message of hope to those who suffer with mental health concerns by working with many non-profits including, The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

“Twisted Conversations,” explores the “what if’s” of a relationship that might have been under different circumstances and features Knight’s lilting vocal as he turns his pain into a beautiful song. 

Written by Knight, the song was recorded at Gradwell House in NJ, produced by Matt Weber, co-produced by Louis Knight and Matt Fell and executive produced by Cliff Jurkiewicz and Glenn Manko.

Of the track, Louis says, “One New Year’s Eve, I ended up hitting it off with my good friend’s older sister, which did not go down well with him.  I wrote this song the next day inspired by the idea of having a strong connection with someone but not being able to act on those feelings and debating which path to go down.”
