Attention Gleeks, are you ready for this major season five casting news?
Demi Lovato is set to join Fox phenomenon Glee in a substantial guest spot, which will span at least six episodes!
TVLine reports the actress, singer and X Factor judge is nearing a deal to appear as Dani, a struggling artist in New York who will be mainly interacting with friends Rachel and Santana, as well as Adam Lambert’s character who is also new to season five. Dani is slated to first appear in episode two airing at the beginning of October, the second part of the dramedy’s Beatles’ tribute.
Lovato’s previous acting credits include lead roles in Disney Channel series Sonny With A Chance and the Camp Rock films, as well as guest roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Prison Break.
This casting news offers Fox a cross-promotional jackpot – but how do you Gleeks feel about it?
