Macklemore Proves He’s Classy With Apologetic Text To Kendrick Lamar Following Grammy Loss

Grammy night proved a fantastic night for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis as they walked away with four golden gramophones!

Ever so humbly, Macklemore felt he had “robbed” a fellow nominee and texted Kendrick Lamar following the ceremony with an apology:

Lamar had a whopping seven nominations for his critically acclaimed debut album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, and shockingly walked away empty handed.

Macklemore posted an image of his text on Instagram with a caption that reads, “He deserved best rap album,” he wrote.”I’m honored and completely blown away to win anything much less [four] Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO.”

Macklmore proved to be one classy fella and we sincerely wish both acts the best of luck on their upcoming tours!
