Get ready for some witchy fun! True Blood actress Kristin Bauer van Straten trades her fangs for magic powers in her return to Once Upon a Time.
Bauer van Straten will be reprising her role as Regina’s best frenemy, Maleficent, and could possibly be Season 4’s big baddie once Elsa’s storyline plays out. Could Maleficent be the big threat that makes all of Storybrooke see the good in our favorite Ice Queen? For now, all we know is she will be a recurring guest star for a major arc.
Maybe we’ll get more answers on Aurora’s past! Maybe we’ll get to see Aurora and Phillip’s baby!
The last we saw of Maleficent, she was slain as a dragon by Emma at the end of Season 1, and then as a zombie at the end of Season 2.
What do you hope Maleficent’s return will bring? We’ll find out for sure when Once Upon a Time returns to ABC September 28 at 8pm.
