Not the most comforting interview.
Mama June, of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” fame, recently sat down with E! News to discuss the cancellation of her show, as well as the scandal that caused it: Her dating a convicted child molester, who had actually molested one of her own daughters.
Anna Cardwell sat down recently with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and claimed June’s boyfriend had molested her when she was 8. June was reportedly very upbeat during her own interview, laughing on occasion. Here’s what she had to say.
First, regarding the cancellation of the show:
“I can’t say anything bad about the show. I can’t say anything bad about TLC.”
She was then asked about her relationship with Anna, who was reportedly molested by June’s boyfriend Mark McDaniel:
“I talk to her — I talk to all my kids,”
“We’re all doing fine. We’re just hanging out as a family and handling it privately. The protection of my kids is my number one priority.”
June never directly spoke about Mark or the claims that they are still dating. There have been multiple news sites that have published recent photos of June and Mark, painting the picture that even after the scandal broke, they are still seeing each other.
