Fans of Mrs. Doubtfire were probably overjoyed by the news of a sequel! But even though most of the cast will (hopefully) be returning, there is one of the original cast members who has no interest in reprising her role. Former child star, Mara Wilson, has stated she has “no interest” in appearing in the new film.

Wilson shared her thoughts like most celebrities do these days, through her Twitter. She shared her thoughts in a number of tweets earlier today (April 17th). But she hasn’t even been asked to reprise her role as Robin Williams’s daughter in the movie.

“For the record, no, I do not have anything to do with the Mrs. Doubtfire sequel, nor will I.”

Of course she didn’t stop there: “Here are many, many reasons I don’t want to be in Mrs. Doubtfire 2. But they haven’t even asked me (yet), so no need to worry.” Take a look at more of her tweets–they are priceless!

I think it’s safe to say she definitely won’t be asked to be a part of the sequel. Call me crazy, but I have a feeling her saying “sequels generally….” is not exactly the direction the producers want to take.

Do you think Wilson will be missed in the new Mrs. Doubtfire movie? Let us know in the comments!
