Mariah Carey Signs New Album Deal With Sony’s Epic Records

Mariah Carey has signed a deal with Sony’s Epic Records, rumored to be for several future albums.

Mariah Carey just took a big step in her career, and sealed a deal with Epic Records. The contract, which was first reported by Billboard in January, is a multi-album deal that will start with a concert series featuring some of her greatest hits. It is probably no coincidence that this series will coincide with Carey’s residency at Caesars Palace in Vegas, on May 6th.

Called “#1s,” the concert series will include 18 of Carey’s top hits including “Vision of Love” and “Touch My Body.”

There is also information that the upcoming album will feature updated songs and duets of some of her most beloved hits.

Though sources say Carey is already recording some new music in Los Angeles, there has been no word on when her first Epic album will be released.
