Just three days after teasing Facebook fans and followers about “a lot of excitement that I’m going to reveal to you very soon,” Mariah Carey has revealed that she will be releasing her new single, “The Art Of Letting Go,” exclusively on her Facebook page.
Carey, who has over 13 million followers on her Facebook page, posted “I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that my brand new single ‘THE ART OF LETTING GO’, will be released here exclusively on my Facebook page on 11.11.2013,” Carey posted on her Facebook page Oct. 14. “This song is so personal to me and I’m very excited to share this experience with you in such an intimate way.”
Carey’s follow up to her 2009 album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” “The Art of Letting Go,” was originally set to be released on Sept. 23, but was delayed due to Carey wanting to work on further music for the album, and later to recover from a shoulder injury she sustained while filming a music video in July.
The song will be released on the Facebook page for it’s listening party at 11:00 AM (ET) on Nov. 11.
