Marina and the Diamonds has gifted us with the real Froot of the Month, the gorgeous video for her new song “I’m a Ruin.”
The video was directed by Markus Lundqvist, known for his work with Lady Gaga and Madonna. Marina is featured for most of the video in breezy robes on a rocky mountain, with colorful clouds blowing behind her. Toward the end, the siren takes a dive into a watery abyss, surrounded by jellyfish and in a stunning purple gown.
The video perfectly matches the dreamlike sound of the song, like the other two videos she has released, “Froot” and “Immortal.”
The next two songs will be released March 3 and April 4, and the full album will be released on April 6, 2015.
