Have all you gamers out there seen the new Mario Kart 8 promo?!
The footage which focuses on showing off the new features in the game is causing a stir amongst the gaming community. Some major changes which have been shown off during the 2-minutes long commercials, including a revamped version of all-time fan favorite, Rainbow Road, and Anti-Gravity roads!
If you’ve played Mario Kart before you’ll be sure to have encountered the sneaky banana ready to throw you off track, or the evil red shell ready to callously knock you out of first place, well, there’s 2 more mystery items that have been announced that have got loyal fans excited. The Piranha Plant and the Boomerang from other Mario games are also being introduced into Mario Kart 8.
It had been rumored that the game would give players the option to design their own track, however, it has now been confirmed that this will not be the case. Mario Kart producer, Hideki Konno said that it’s a “fun feature” and is “something he has been interested in for a long time”.
This new game is hyped up to be another masterpiece from Nintendo, are you excited for Mario Kart 8?
