Sherlocked? Then don’t worry.
Mark Gatiss, AKA Sherlock’s brother Mycroft, has confirmed that when the detective drama returns it will be a full series and not a one-off special.
Martin Freeman recently set Sherlockians panicking when he suggested that the show might only be back for one episode instead of a full fourth series.
But, never fear. Gatiss was collared on his way into the Arquiva BAFTA television awards recently and had this to say, “There was talk [of a single film but] amongst people who have nothing to do with Sherlock, I’m afraid.”
He also mentioned that they are moving closer to agreeing shooting dates, but that it is particularly tricky due to everyone’s busy schedules, particularly Steven Moffat’s and his own – after all they’ve got Doctor Who to focus on too!
So, it looks like the series, with a rumored air date of 2016, will be the usual three episode format. More than enough time to go out and buy an ear-hat for the occasion.
